The Process: Kone

I got the opportunity to sit down with a super dope guy, producer, DJ, and good friend Kone to talk about his beat making process. I always wonder how other creatives come up with what they make, and the space they make it in. Kone’s home studio is in a very artistic space. His home is filled with vinyl records, some instruments, midi controls, plants, and really cool art made by his girlfriend Maria. They also work together with their partner, Luis Blanco, on their record label New Los Angeles. Kone also gives us a little insight on his breakfast habits and how to make a tasty espresso.
